Why can't Reverend Jesse Jackson be Obama's Vice President?

It's not that he can't be, it's that Obama wouldn't want Jackson because it would more than likely end up hurting his chances of being elected. He probably doesn't want a black V.P. anyway. Obama wants a more diversity in his cabinet.
