Will scoliosis worsen after you're 19 year old?

Hi. I'm from Nepal. I am a 19 year old male. I recently happened to know that i had thoracic scoliosis. I was trying to get recruited for the British Army this year and i ped all the physical and mental tests. However, X-ray result showed that i had thoracic scoliosis. I was really shocked. The radiologist told me that i wouldn't be fit to be a soldier since i was told that it worsens during adolescence. I saw that i had a minor curve in my x-ray,around the thoracic part of my spine and i thought that it wasn't something that posed a major threat. However, i've come to research a lot about it and now i'm starting to get uncomfortable with the fact that i have scoliosis. My question is what are the chances that my spinal curvature will worsen?
