Would you rather be a complete atheist who is good and kind? OR?

..A Theist who always preaches fire death and torture? The man Jesus taught love and giving, and he did a good job since the world counts time by his birth and tries to be kind on his birthday. Would he want people to love because its a good idea and works wonders? Or from shear terror of what if I get caught not acting in loving? The theist is forced by fear of punishment to do good the ateist just does it from common sence. Who is loved more by god? Ok for those who don't believe love has a quantum level reality. Who would be loved by Jesus if he were alive today?
