Anatomy and physiology, microbiology, and chemistry are good starts. After you get basic chemistry under your belt, you can move to organic chemistry. I'm not sure you can do an L.P.N. course at a regular college. Why not just go for the R.N. part since you're already enrolled in school, and it would just be a change in majors--once you're accepted into the nursing program.

Which psp should I get?

I cant decide between the psp go and the psp 3000 ghost of sparta edition. The psp go has a bundle which I think in my opinion consists of three great games. Those games being Ratchet and Clank: size matters, Socom, and LittleBigPlanet. The psp 3000 ghost of sparta edition comes with a nice red and black design and God of war: Chains of Olympus and God of war: Ghost of Sparta. Also it comes with a great movie Kick-***. Right now Im leaning towards the psp go because I think its more sleek and I love all the games that it comes with. The only downfall is that I will not be able to play my old psp games I have because the psp go you must download your games. My truck is stalling (carburetor)?

Progressively worse anxiety, depression, intrusive thoughts, and paranoia?

My winter semester ended at my college 2 weeks ago and I went on break. However a week before that I noticed that I started having problems. I would shrug up and my neck would get tense so I would have to take the tension off of my neck and shoulders by dropping them and them keeping them back again so i wouldn't slouch. Usually it would be accompanied by a negative thought. My anxiety also affected me where my hands would involuntarily twitch and my legs spasm. It would be worse and hard to manage when my neck muscles where tense. Therefore every time it got tense I dropped my shoulders and relaxed them. This could be any time of the day, around anyone or by myself. I just had to fear something enough and my shoulders would hike up and put stress on my neck. Then one day my anxiety got really bad and my neck got really stiff. I went to the gym with one hours of sleep (dumb idea and my anxiety probably kept me up) and did my back weight lifting routine and when I woke up my neck was incredibly stiff and I could not move it. not only that my shoulders were very tight and I could move them up to my ear. the tension is cause my eyes to balloon a little so it looks like I'm staring at everyone when I'm not. Even if that wasn't embarring enough, my intrusive thoughts and anxiety were still there. This is where I got heavily depressed, because, one I could not workout without properly injuring myself and two I lock up around my friends because I don't want to them think I'm crazy or anything! If I slouch the tension gets to my face and I look angry. Worse part is I don't have insurance and I can't see a doctor to get my neck checked out. I tried everything to relax my neck at home. weightless shoulder shrugs, shoulder rolls, rolling my neck side to side gently. it does menial help. and as for the paranoia, I started getting paranoid when people were mentioning something negative such as... my barber (she spoke about a client insulting her accent making it harder for her to cut hair) I thought she was speaking about me. and I started changing my behavior and everything. lol I've been able to keep my depression under control because I don't slouch but I still have the anxiety the avoidance too. what can I do to help myself? I'm trying to get insurance tomorrow and hopefully that will fall through and my tense neck can be relieved, tried setting some big goals for myself for this year to cheer myself up, and trying to stay away from the computer/video game console so I can get out more and this will have a less of an effect on me....I'm also doing a lot of self talk and cracking jokes to myself about how my life will turn out like this to make light of the situation... :)

Our missions are rarely combat oriented, and are rather more humanitarian handing out food, and supplies to the iraqis, and force protection which is where we guard ourselves and try to build better security for the iraqi people. We dont indiscriminately drop bombs, that would go contrary to our mission here. You can't win over the people by randomly killing civilians, and you cant win an insurgency without winning over the people. And in that, most places here we are succeeding i can tell you.

I'm glad you care. However- this is a true test on how much you love having your beautiful dog. You could sell things, or get another job. You could also ask a friend that you are close to (and make up a contract) for a loan and you can pay them back, make a 10 year clause that says you have 10 years, or you will pay them X amount of dollars in interest. I know times are tough, and if this was my dog I would find a way to do the surgery. You could apply for a loan (I'm not sure how these things work, I've never gotten a loan), or, the saddest thing, give your dog up. Whether it means a no-kill shelter (or a friend who can pay), or euthanasia (which I think is the absolute LAST resort, and I don't think it will get there), I would hand you money right now, but I have none. I, as do you, have a GSD, who is ten. I would have a cow if she needed this, and she probably wouldn't be strong enough for surgery.

If I do an additional 20 minutes of Pilates every other day, do you think it'll help give me less bulky muscles? You see, I have some muscle definition already, and I know the Insanity work out is supposed to get you ripped in 60 days, but I don't want to be scary muscular, considering i'd like to have more of a slender yet defined muscles. So, I was hoping that incorporating Pilates would help to lengthen my muscles some, so that they wouldn't turn out to be so bulky? Or would it hinder me to do that additional workout? And I know I may get suggestions to do a different type of work out instead of Insanity if I don't want to bulk up, but I want to get in shape faster and that work out offers that to me. I was trying to get recruited for the British Army this year and i ped all the physical and mental tests. However, X-ray result showed that i had thoracic scoliosis. I was really shocked. The radiologist told me that i wouldn't be fit to be a soldier since i was told that it worsens during adolescence. I saw that i had a minor curve in my x-ray,around the thoracic part of my spine and i thought that it wasn't something that posed a major threat. However, i've come to research a lot about it and now i'm starting to get uncomfortable with the fact that i have scoliosis. My question is what are the chances that my spinal curvature will worsen? Windows Zero Config - mysteriously switches from WPA to WEP?

Switched wireless router network from WEP to WPA-PSK. Two computers can connect to the network fine, but one is having trouble. Whenever I set up the network as a WPA-PSK and try to connect, Windows Zero Configuration fails to connect and switches the network's settings to WEP. I've updated the wireless card's (Dynex Wireless G for desktop) drivers and am using Windows XP with service pack 2. Any ideas on what's the problem?

What do I do about an ingrown toenail?

This is a little lengthy. I was outside at school playing some basketball yesterday when I discovered an ingrown toenail. She's doing loads of things most 6 month olds can't, such as standing unaided for a bit- there is no reason to push the sitting thing, she's obviously developing completely normally and will sit in her own time. Just allow her opportunities to practise her sitting and she'll get there. She's not behind though, a lot of babies can't sit unaided until 7-8 months.

How is this for my prolouge?

It's good. Most people are able to relate to the beginning and you later draw in element of mystery. My criticism is mostly with structure. It seemed a bit choppy to me, the sentences need to flow together a bit more. I hate to say it because I will sound like my English teacher however a transition word may help there. Besides that the first sentence sounds a bit off. You could try 'Grace sat in the large clroom, absentmindedly tapping her fingers...' because with sat in the past tense you have already set the action in the past and so tapping can be present. If you don't like that you can try 'Grace sat in the large clroom and absentmindedly tapped her fingers..." the "and" makes it flow better. Try reading it aloud or leave it for a bit and come back to it. Often you cannot catch your own mistakes after writing because your brain is attuned to what you wrote and sees it as correct or something. (English teacher once again). Hope that helped a bit :)

People only intend the positives out of such experiments, and, unlike heroin, there is no byproducts that can ruin you except for maybe the memory of the heartbreak. However, when you look back at those days when you and the person you were dating were happy, some people find that it was indeed worth it. What the hell is wrong with my teeth?

I brush daily. I also usually floss and use mouthwash, and I chew sugar-free gum everyday after meals and such. My molars are falling apart, though. Like, they look healthy enough, but then they start to chip and the inside appears rotten. I've had one of my molars chip twice in the past month, pretty big pieces, too. There's no pain (all of my teeth are sensitive to cold, though); my teeth are just breaking... Both of my parents have had problems with thier teeth. My mother's teeth just started falling out a few years back because of her having weak gums or something like that; she had to have all of her real teeth pulled and replaced with dentures. Several of my father's teeth have rotten and fallen out or had to be pulled; his teeth kinda rot from the inside out and are incredibly painful and often absess and leaking... One of my molars is completely gone (all that remains is a sort of crater with a very thin piece of enamel that used to be the right/front side of my tooth), and it's been rotted ever since I could remember; I don't remember when it happened or if it just came in bad or what. The molar that is chipping now is adjacent to the rotted one; both are on my bottom row of teeth. The last time I went to the dentist, she said that all of my teeth except for the rotted molar (this was before the other one started breaking) looked fine and that the molar was my only problem... They don't hurt at all, so I'm guessing that the nerves are already dead... Sometimes my jaw/jaw joints hurt, and my ears do, too... I do have stomache problems; I sometimes just randomly vomit for no reason at all and without warning... I have no idea what's going on... Can anyone help???

My boyfriend of four years wants to wear make-up to a lady gaga concert and a homemade skimpy outfit?

I am dating an obviously metro boy, but over the last couple months he is seeming more gay than metro and admittedly I'm upset. When he talks to people he doesn't know, he uses this gay "excited" voice and also when he works his retail job. He told me once that he "wouldn't mind being in a relationship with a guy" and since then these things really bother me. I am about halfway through my husband's deployment. I am not pregnant, so that is not the reason. I have hit this huge nesting period. I don't want to eat, and can't sleep well, I just keep cleaning and cleaning. Every time I feel hungry, I get irritated with myself because I don't want to bother with eating. Hubby just diagnosed as bi-polar, im not coping either!?

Hello mrsmixed, WOW! First, I would suggest looking in the phone-book under "Mental Health/Crisis/Support Groups" etc...I have a schizophrenic/bi-polar son, and it's very difficult from time to time. However, calling the mental health crisis line in my area and just talking to someone for a few minutes helped me a lot. They put me in touch with a great support group (it was actually a 6 month long cl), and I was able to learn so much about his illness, and meet people dealing with similar issues. One of the hardest parts about mental disorders (IMO) is getting the person to a good doctor and getting the right meds. The second is making that person actually "take" their meds. Once the person starts feeling better, they think they don't need them anymore (this is my situation). I think going back and forth to him isn't helping the situation at all. I would suggest telling him if he gets treatment, good meds etc...and continues to improve, that you are willing to move forward "slowly" in regards to rebuilding your relationship. A marriage counselor/therapist may be an option as well. Keep your spirits up! Maybe you could get some "spiritual" advice from your church. Your not alone, and it will take time and patience. Not phased by dad leaving?

My dad has been there for me for my whole up to now 16 years of my life. He's always said he's loved me, he's never really abused me, but I feel that I never really have been that close to him. Just two days ago, my parents got into an awful fight because my dad hit my four year old niece on the arm with a belt because she wouldn't eat her cereal. Two days later, the mark is still there and a huge bruise is forming. His whole family is saying they're coming to "get" her, and one of them is supposedly coming to get my niece. The thing is, I only feel bitterness towards my dad. I'm not really sad about him leaving. I don't know if this is normal...I mean, I love my dad, but he needs help. He's on nearly 30 different pills a day, and he IS addicted. He's at the Jail hospital in acute care right now, so he'll get out in a few days. Is it okay that I feel no sadness in him leaving?

Can a Landlord withhold Security b/c they say you broke the lease terms- even though you were never evicted?

The Landlord was very neglegent in doing any repairs for the apartment, but complained about everything. i had a month-to-month lease, so i gave 30days notice and now she's trying to hold my security deposit, saying that i broke the lease b/c i had company over with a dog. According to the lease, i cannot have guests or other pets living there but no one else lived there and the other dog was verbally approved by her to come over occasionally. Also, she gave me verbal permission to paint the rooms since they were painted horrible colors. Now she is hiring a painter to paint over some black trim I painted in one of the rooms b/c she doesn't like the color and she is trying to deduct the $$ from my security. She NEVER specified what colors I could or could not use, in fact, she was there when I was beginning to paint the trim & didn't have a problem w/it. Also, I was due my security deposit within 7 days of vacating, per my lease, but have yet to receive a dime. Is any of this legal?

Hey, I'm really sad. So, this weekend i went up to my lake house with my family. My cousins were also there staying at my grandmas lake house a few houses down. My cousins brought there friends too. So one of there friends is really cute. His name is Mitch and he is my age were both going in to HiSchool. When i was hanging with my cousins i would catch him staring at me a lot and i thought he might have liked me. I think he did he would watch me from afar and i am almost sure he likes me. No, ever since the conseratives came into power, they haven't really been interested in the long-term picture. All they've been doing is playing games and trying to trick Canadians into thinking that the liberals are corrupt, and they are pure so they can win the next election. And frankly, I'm surprised that so many people are falling for it. I have nothing against being fiscally conservative, but to play these types of games really bugs me. Oh, I didn't realize that the "war on drugs" in the states was so successful that we ought to try the same thing here. Ya, let's hire more cops, judges, correctional officers, build more prisons, and send more people to jail for victimless crimes - all on the dime of taxpayers. Let's ruin some kid's life because he chose to smoke a joint of weed, which by the way is one of the safest drugs in the world, yet still illegal, and will continue to be with these morons running our country. They want to get rid of any program that works, just because it doesn't conform to their narrow political ideologies, and put in ones that don't work. I am optimistic though that people will start seeing through this bullsh!t, sort of like how most people are seeing through W in the states. I think that if the conservatives were purely fiscally conservative, and not also socially too, they'd have a chance at governing this country for a while. Canadians like to be free, and don't like to be told what to do/not to do by the government, and the religious nutbags. We believe in science, not scripture. Its never too late to go natural!! Just know that it can be a long and difficult process. There are different ways of going about it though. You can let your hair grow, and eventually cut off all the relaxed hair, or you could cut it now. What's happening to God?

God seems to not play as big of a part as he did in older generations. More and more I'm seeing peers claiming to be "Atheist" or "Agnostic". Internet taking ages to connect to wireless?

Basically, I have moved into a new flat, where we have wireless 20MB internet installed by virgin media. Every time I start my laptop/ laptop comes off standby I have to wait around 1-2 minutes for the internet to connect. It can find the internet connection easily but just saying ''Identifying'' for ages until it connects to a local network and finally to internet. Also apparently the modem has a range of 50m but in my room, around 10m away, the connection can be appalling and it sometimes can't even pick up connection. My laptop is around 3 years old. Its a HP dv9000. Anyone got any advice on how to make the connection quicker and stronger especially in my room ? Can we please not use complex computer lingo cheers :P

Windows XP "No response DHCP Server" message?

Hi, I bought a refurbished laptop with Windows XP OS on it. I can get it to hook up wirelessly to someone's unsecured wireless signal, but I can't get it to hook up to my wireless Comcast signal. My Comcast signal is fine (my spouse's computer is working fine on the wireless signal). I keep getting a message that says "No response DHCP server". Can you help me? The wireless internet thing I have on my computer is an "Intel" device of some kind. Thanks very much, I'm no techie, so please don't explain it in complicated jargon.

My 11 year old son has just started senior school today, after having three months off, with bowel trouble, frequently going to the loo.He has had blood test etc done , which all came back clear. He was doubled up in pain, complaining of trapped wind all day at school, which he's not much better this evening. All the school seems worried about is him catching up his school work. I informed them that at the weekend he started bleeding from his rectum. They don't seem to care. I'm thinking of keeping him off school now until we know what we are dealing with. Low HcG levels ?? What to do?

On Friday and Saturday i took a total of 6 preganancy tests , all coming out positive . now , im not really sure of the date of my last period , but they estimated 4 - 5 wks preqnant . i did the bloodwork and my HcG level was 80 . the doctor said that was low and explained to me that many women miscarry with low HcG levels , im stressing it alot and in 2 days im qoinq to take another bloodtest . Has anyone had low HcG levels resulting in healthy , normal pregnancy . or any advice . .

Okay, so I've had this teacher for the whole year and his personality really clashes with mine. He is outgoing and very detail-oriented to the point where it hurts. I am really introverted and tend to talk less than him. He put on my interim that I slouch in my chair and that I look tired in cl, even though I've never fallen asleep ever in the cl. He says I don't participate enough, and that I "sit in the cl stone-faced". My grade is a D-, but I've turned all work in on time, he is just very detailed and seems to correct everything I do, even though the things I write make sense. i have/had a "yeat infection" i treated it with monstat which takes 3 days to fully disinfect the infection i guess. Liability of letting teen drive pengers?

I got my license a couple months ago, and I'm 16 years old. We have 3 cars for 3 drivers, yet they are all registered under my dads/moms name. I get to drive my dads BMW, and he put me on the policy for the car. My mom is scared that there is liability issues driving with me driving other teens. She lets me drive with my best friend, because she has spoken to his mom ect. My mom claims that if I get into an accident with others teens, that they can sue you. I don't understand this though, doesn't the insurance pay for any penger injuries up its limits. Similarily, if I were to hit a pedestrian or get into an accident injurying the people in the other vehicle, couldn't they sue us? My mom claims since the car is registered in my dads name it poses a problem. This is in Florida, does anyone know if this is true?
